Highly regarded Advocacy Organisation seeks new Chief Officer to lead its committed team into the next phase of development

This organisation supports adults who through illness, disability or age may experience difficulty speaking up or speaking out about issues affecting their everyday lives. Our aim is to ensure the voice of the client is heard as they struggle to exert their rights and make their needs known through a maze of legislation, regulation and policy.

We are looking for a Chief Officer, based in our Salisbury office, to lead the organisation through the next phase of development to ensure the organisation is able to meet its aspirations to provide independent advocacy to all those who can benefit.

Your role will be:

  • to achieve the strategic goals and objectives of the organisation
  • give direction and leadership on the policy, mission, strategy, aims and objectives.
  • provide effective management of all resources including staff and volunteers
  • ensure adequate funding streams via contracts, grants and other fundraising activities
  • work in partnership with the Chair to enable the Board to effectively fulfil its governance functions.

Data Analyst
£20k plus bonus

Our client is a market research agency that specialise in the insurance industry, in both pricing and consumer behaviour.

Key responsibilities

  • Liaise with the sales team to determine reporting requirements and agree schedules
  • Liaise with operations to make sure data will arrive in time and to a high quality
  • Produce reports on time and to a high standard in accordance with agreed schedules
  • Seek for innovative new ways to report information to clients
  • Look for new ideas and information in order to interest clients and prospective clients
  • To meet the needs of the business in delivering quality information for profit to clients

To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:

  • Mathematics or statistics degree essential
  • Experience of working in an analytical or market research environment would be advantageous
  • Excellent Microsoft skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of data mining techniques
